Days Inn, last night of sleep in a bed that’s not directly situated on the ground. Execitement of what the day will bring. Yellowstone.
We are up and ready to go. Last decent shower for a while. We have to locate a Wal-Mart here in Casper to purchase some of the last items we need for the trip. Our 4 checked bags were all right at the 50 lb limit so we held off on some of the final essentials like food and fuel to purchase once we hit the road. Got to love the Southwest Airlines policy on bags. Smooth flight in, right to the Budget rental car and away on our rough and tumble, rugged off roading, ready for adventure….Kia Rio? What??? Yea, Kia. Hey you couldn’t beat the price $25/day & the gas mileage. And my, might as well be a travel agent wife, gets us this room for $15. She is amazing!
Reading materials are all downloaded and we are heading out the door. Off to the oldest and largest National Park – Yellowstone.
