Grizzly encounter at Yellowstone.
Well it happened. Our first encounter with a Grizzly at Yellowstone – don’t get to excited. It was from about 300 yards away & we were in our car driving at about 7 am. We were just outside of the Madison Camp ground along a beautiful meadow as this young looking Grizzly was moving along the tree line just under the Purple Mountains. As we followed along the side of the road watching him we wondered if he was heading into the camp ground but he turned North & moved up the hill & out of sight into the thick timber.
